London Days Out | Coming early 2027
Now we’re sucking diesel. Line of Duty: Operation Echo, a brand-new playable experience based on the hit BBC series, will launch on the streets of London in early 2027. It comes from CityDays, the team behind Race Across the World: The Experience. Here are five things to know.
1. You join AC-12
Players step into the shoes of anti-corruption officers and investigate their very own case. Teams navigate the back streets and hidden corners of the capital, uncovering physical evidence, chasing leads and working together to uncover the truth.
2. Real London locations become crime scenes
Pubs, cafes, landmarks and other venues become part of the investigation. At each stop, you’ll solve escape room-style puzzles and riddles, and navigational clues will lead you to plaques, statues and distinctive architecture hidden in the city.
3. Evidence just like the show
Expect CCTV footage, fingerprints, forensic reports, diary entries and bank records, delivered through physical clues, video, audio and phone messages. You’ll interact with characters as the case unfolds.
4. Who can you trust?
Finding evidence is only half the challenge. Teams must decide who to trust and how far to go for justice, and their choices can change the outcome. Everyone is scored on a leaderboard and gets a personalised certificate with a persona, from “Super Sleuths” to “Reckless Mavericks”.
5. Great for groups
Teams of 2 to 8 players take on a 2 to 3 hour, 4 to 5km walking investigation, so it’s ideal for friends, families and team days out. Dates and prices haven’t been announced yet, but the waitlist is open now.
