London Theatre | 23 and 24 February 2027
A Broadway reunion is coming to the West End. After two sell-out concerts at Carnegie Hall, the original revival cast of Falsettos will reunite at the London Palladium for three performances only next February. Here are five things to know.
1. The Broadway stars are all back
The cast of the acclaimed 2016 revival returns: Tony winner Stephanie J. Block, Tony winner Christian Borle, Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, Girls), Emmy nominee Tracie Thoms, Tony winner Brandon Uranowitz and Tony nominee Betsy Wolfe. Seeing them together in London is a rare treat for musical theatre fans.
2. It sold out in under two hours
The concert was originally meant to be a one-night-only benefit. The first Carnegie Hall date sold out in fewer than two hours, and the second sold out even faster, leading to extra performances in New York and London.
3. A groundbreaking musical
William Finn and James Lapine’s musical tells the story of Marvin, his lover Whizzer, his wife Trina and their extended family, from the early 1980s through the early days of the AIDS crisis. The New York Times called the revival “a perfect musical”, and it earned five Tony nominations.
4. With the original musicians
Tony-nominated Ellenore Scott, assistant choreographer on the 2016 revival, directs, and Vadim Feichtner conducts a band made up mostly of the revival’s original musicians.
5. Sign up for the presale now
With only three London performances, tickets are likely to go fast. The presale starts on Wednesday 14 October, with general sale on Friday 16 October. Sign up in advance for early access.
