Christmas 2026 | Six dates, 5 – 23 December
After two years of sell-out shows in the West End, Christmas by Candlelight is heading to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland for the first time. The magical sing-along concert of festive favourites will be performed by West End stars in a purpose-built, 1,000-seat Candlelight Arena in Winter Wonderland’s Show Town. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 30 September at midday.

1. A cast of West End stars
The line-up includes Rachel John (Hamilton), Dean John-Wilson, who originated the title role in Aladdin in the West End, Katie Hall (Cabaret, The Phantom of the Opera) and Tosh Wanogho-Maud (Kinky Boots, Titanique). They’re joined by a live band.
2. All your favourite Christmas songs
Expect best-loved classics such as “White Christmas”, “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”, “O Holy Night” and “Winter Wonderland”, and you’re encouraged to sing along. The organisers are calling it their biggest festive sing-along yet.
3. Hundreds of candles
Concerts by Candlelight has performed more than 3,000 concerts to over 1.3 million people, at venues from St Paul’s Cathedral to Carnegie Hall. This fully immersive candlelit arena is built especially for Winter Wonderland, and the producers promise an electric atmosphere.
4. Make a full night of it
Every show starts at 8.30pm, so you can spend the early evening at Winter Wonderland first. London’s huge festive fairground runs from 19 November to 3 January, with rides, shows, giant ice sculptures and seasonal food and drink. Pre-booking gives you the best value, and some purchases include free entry.
5. Great for the whole family, and it supports the Royal Parks
It’s a feel-good family night out, and money raised from events at Winter Wonderland helps The Royal Parks charity look after Hyde Park and London’s other royal parks. There are only six dates, so book early.
