Halloween 2026 | Selected dates, 3 October – 1 November
Spooky season is back at Chessington World of Adventures. Howl’o’ween returns this Saturday, 3 October, and runs on selected dates until 1 November, including weekends and October half term. It’s one of the best family Halloween days out near London.
Here are five reasons to go.
1. Rides until dusk
During Howl’o’ween the park stays open later, so you can ride your favourite attractions as it gets dark. The Vampire ride feels even spookier at dusk. Your ticket also includes the zoo and SEA LIFE, so there’s plenty to fill a full day.
2. Enchanted Hollow: Trick or Treat
Children step into a whimsical underground village full of friendly animal residents. They knock on doors around the town, meet the characters and collect sweet treats, or maybe a trick. It’s gentle rather than scary, so it’s ideal for younger kids. It’s an optional extra, so book it alongside your park ticket.
3. A scare zone for braver visitors
The Stone Watchers are back to guard the Vampire’s Lair. They’re carved from mythical stone to keep evil spirits away, and if you cross the line, the statues come to life. Can you sneak through to the other side?
4. Fire, dance and Halloween shows
Rising Flame returns for 2026, a dramatic dance show with roaring flames and pyrotechnics. There’s also a mix of brand-new and returning Halloween entertainment. Little ones can meet Marshall and Skye from PAW Patrol in their Halloween costumes, and explore the new World of PAW Patrol.
5. Make it a spooky short break
Want more than a day? Stay overnight in one of Chessington’s themed Resort Hotels. Hotel guests get extras such as Early Ride Time and hotel entertainment. Book day tickets online in advance for the best prices, and fancy dress is always welcome.
