Mike Skinner, the musician behind The Streets, is heading to a secret central London location for a one-night-only event combining conversation, music and an exclusive DJ set.
Re-Mastered: Live takes place on 16 September 2026 and sees Skinner teaming up with PATRÓN Tequila for an evening looking at the ideas, decisions and creative process behind his work.
Places are limited and available through a ballot. Here are five things to know.
1. Mike Skinner will talk about how his music is actually made
More than 20 years after The Streets first broke through, Skinner remains one of the most distinctive voices in British music.
Rather than a traditional interview or gig, the first part of Re-Mastered: Live will focus on the creative process behind his work.
Skinner will be joined in conversation by two guests who have been part of his career since its early days, discussing everything from where ideas begin to the decisions that turn them into finished tracks.
It promises to be a rare opportunity to hear him talk in detail about the work behind the music rather than simply the finished result.
2. The night finishes with an exclusive Mike Skinner DJ set
After the conversation, Skinner will move behind the decks for an intimate DJ set.
The organisers describe it as a one-off performance that will not be repeated, drawing on the sounds and influences that have shaped his career.
For anyone who has followed The Streets from Original Pirate Material onwards, it should offer an interesting glimpse into the music that has influenced Skinner as both an artist and DJ.
3. You will not know the exact location until the day before
There is a deliberately secretive element to the event.
Re-Mastered: Live will take place somewhere in central London, but the exact venue will not be announced publicly in advance.
Successful ballot entrants will be sent the location and their ticket 24 hours before the event.
Doors are scheduled from 7.30pm, with the evening running until late.
4. Entry is through a free ballot
You cannot simply buy a standard ticket for the event.
Places are being allocated through a ballot and numbers are strictly limited.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and successful guests will need to bring identification with them on the night.

5. The evening brings together music and the idea of craftsmanship
The event has been created by PATRÓN Tequila around the theme of creative craft: the patience, discipline and attention to detail that sit behind a finished piece of work.
Alongside the conversation and DJ set, adult guests will be able to try a selection of PATRÓN cocktails, including a Mike’s Margarita featuring pineapple and spice.
For music fans, however, the main draw is likely to be the chance to hear Mike Skinner talking candidly about his creative life before seeing him play in an unusually small setting.
Re-Mastered: Live takes place in central London on Wednesday 16 September 2026 from 7.30pm until late.
Entry is via ballot only and is strictly for those aged 18 and over.
Please enjoy alcohol responsibly.
