5 Things to Do at G Live Guildford in October 2026

G Live has a packed October ahead, with comedy, live music, family shows, talks and some suitably spooky entertainment as Halloween approaches. If you are looking for a night out in Guildford this autumn, here are five highlights worth considering.

1. See some of the biggest names in comedy

October is particularly strong for comedy at G Live. Gary Delaney appears on 8 October, followed by Chris Ramsey on 9 October. Later in the month, Nish Kumar brings Angry Humour From A Really Nice Guy on 22 October, Susan Calman performs Tell Tales on 23 October and Tom Davis arrives with Spudgun on 30 October.

The month finishes with Stitches Comedy Club on 31 October, featuring Stephen K Amos, Max Fulham and Joe Pasquale.

2. Enjoy a big night of live music

Music fans have plenty to choose from. Rock Orchestra by Candlelight comes to the Main Auditorium on 7 October, while The Story of Guitar Heroes follows on 14 October.

Country fans can head to A Country Night in Nashville on 17 October, while The bEAT – Dance Crazed Too takes over the venue for a standing gig on 19 October.

3. Hear some fascinating stories on stage

If you prefer conversation and storytelling, October has some excellent choices. BBC journalist Jeremy Bowen brings Truth Under Fire to G Live on 21 October, while Nigel Havers appears on 26 October.

The following night, Anton Du Beke presents Steps in Time, before Michael Portillo comes to Guildford on 28 October for an evening of stories and conversation.

4. Take the family during October

There are also a few good options for younger visitors. Fun for the Little Ones – A Tribute to Ms Rachel is at G Live on 3 October, while the Craft Café – Pumpkin Lanterns session on 16 October costs just £1.

Towards the end of the month, the Baby Friendly Cinema Club screens Hocus Pocus on 29 October, making it a timely choice as Halloween approaches.

5. Finish October with something a little different

There are plenty of shows that do not fit neatly into one category. The Ocean Film Festival World Tour arrives on 6 October, bringing adventure and the natural world to the big screen, while Buffy Revamped takes over the Main Auditorium on 29 October.

With comedy, music, talks, family events and live entertainment running throughout the month, G Live is one of the easiest places in Surrey to find something different to do this October.
