Lady Eliza Spencer has celebrated the UK launch of her new Lala V Côtes de Provence Rosé with a summer party at Hackstons in Knightsbridge. Created with her fiancé, Channing Millerd, the rosé is now available exclusively through Hackstons in the UK.
1. Lala V has made its UK debut in Knightsbridge
The launch was marked with an exclusive summer event at Hackstons’ Knightsbridge flagship store, with Lady Eliza and Channing joined by media, VIPs and guests.
For Lady Eliza, launching in London was particularly significant. London is home for the couple, making Knightsbridge a fitting place to introduce Lala V to the UK.
2. The name has a very personal story
Lala V is more than simply a brand name. “Lala” comes from Lady Eliza’s childhood, when her brother Samuel was unable to pronounce Eliza and called her Lala instead.
The “V” stands for Victoria, Lady Eliza’s middle name and also her mother’s name. It also nods to the French word vie, meaning life – reflecting the brand’s focus on enjoying and celebrating life.
3. Provence was always going to be its home
Lady Eliza and Channing created Lala V from a shared love of rosé, travel, good food and long lunches with family and friends.
They chose Provence because of the region’s celebrated rosé-making tradition. The wine is described as pale pink with delicate salmon reflections, with ripe peach and citrus aromas and a fresh, smooth finish.
4. Hackstons is the exclusive UK retailer
Lala V is being launched in the UK through Hackstons, the luxury drinks retailer and whisky cask specialist.
Its Knightsbridge store specialises in carefully selected whiskies, fine wines and spirits, and Lady Eliza said Hackstons’ emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and customer experience made the partnership feel like a natural fit.
5. The rosé will have a starring role at Lady Eliza’s wedding
Lala V is closely connected to Lady Eliza and Channing’s relationship, and the couple are already planning to serve it at their forthcoming wedding.
Lady Eliza says the idea behind the wine is ultimately about creating memorable moments – whether that means a long lunch with friends, a summer holiday or simply enjoying a cold glass of rosé at home.
Lala V Côtes de Provence Rosé costs £27 and is available now at Hackstons Knightsbridge and online.
