This renowned talent competition, now in its 29th year, will televise regional heats on BBC Three and iPlayer, culminating in the grand final on BBC One. Award-winning comedian Babatunde Aléshé will head the judging panel, joined by local comedians and TV comedy industry experts at each of the six regional heats. Aléshé, known for his diverse appearances on shows like Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity, brings his vast experience and insight to the competition.

Exciting Opportunities for Finalists

From Regional Heats to National Recognition
The selected participants will compete in regional heats taking place in September, with episodes airing weekly from 2 October on BBC Three. The grand final in November on BBC One will feature a special performance by the 2023 winner, Joe Kent-Walters, also known as Frankie Monroe. The winner will receive a paid commission to create a 30-minute audio pilot, a trophy, £1,000 cash, and a live performance slot on Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day in March 2025.
