5 things about the Islander Festival at London City Island – Saturday 23rd July

On Saturday 23rd July, creative and cultural neighbourhood London City Island will come alive with summer festival celebrations, as it hosts the second annual Islander Festival!

This year the Festival takes the shape of a summer fete-style celebration as it takes over Hopewell Square at the heart of the island.

Visitors can expect a day chock-full of quintessentially British activities, including kids’ activities such asface painting, races, balloon modelling and garden games, as well as live music performances and DJ sets, art exhibitions, fitness classes, craft workshops, an Open House at English National Ballet and activities for little ones – all served with a side of tasty street food and drinks from an international street food market. It’s the perfect summer family event to relax, socialise and be entertained.
