Get fit at tibits 100% Vegan gym – exercise using fruit and veg

As we approach summer, most people are starting to think about getting back into shape following the excesses of winter. To help people realize their ambitions tibits are launching the World’s First 100% Vegan Gym on Sunday, 1st April! They have achieved this by replacing conventional exercise apparatus with gym equipment made from fruit and veg.

New equipment includes dumbbells made from bananas helping tone the arms and upper body. Kettlebells have been done away with and replaced by watermelons to create, perfect for getting your core into shape. Another innovative use of vegetables is the aubergine, which is being used with a squat to improve strength and agility in the lower body. Other exercises created include Cauliflower Crunches, Fruit Flys and Melon Curls. The great thing about the Vegetarian Gym is that after a hard work out you can enjoy a nibble on the edible equipment.

Located in central London, the gym employs some of London’s leading vegan health and fitness gurus making sure you get in to shape 100% the plant based way. For the launch on the 1st April, tibits are offering a 1-month free membership to everyone who visits either of the London restaurants on this day and mentions the code word “Veggie Gym” at the bar.
