London Restaurant Festival, which is in its seventh year, is an annual celebration of London’s diverse food scene. This year, a record number of the capital’s favoured restaurants are taking part.

Andaz London Liverpool Street is proud to support this year’s festivities and will be celebrating with a limited-time-only 20% discount offer on their best room rate throughout October. Guests of the hotel will also be able to enjoy a delectable buffet breakfast, served in the hotel’s 1901 Restaurant, famed for its magnificent stained glass domed ceiling. Festival Menus:

Housed within the historic hotel are six unique bars and restaurants, all of which have curated bespoke menus for the festival. Catch Lounge, 1901 Wine Lounge, Eastway, Miyako and the George Pub will each showcase their best dishes with exclusive menus throughout October.

Wine Tasting:

For wine lovers, the Andaz Studio will be hosting four wine tasting events as part of the official London Restaurant Festival calendar. Guests will be able to explore and experiment with wine from the most exclusive offerings and discover the produce of unchartered regions, such as the Spanish ‘Sacred Shores’ of Ribeira Sacra and Alto Adige in Northern Italy. Open to both connoisseurs and curious casual drinkers, the hosts made up of passionate wine aficionados are on hand to advise, and are fuelled by the belief that wine drinking is intended to be fun for all and not an exclusive experience for the few.

Tastings will take place on Tuesday 4th, Monday 10th, Tuesday 18th & Tuesday 25th October. Tickets are priced at £15.00 per person.

Eat Film:

To celebrate the very best of food and film during London Restaurant Festival, Andaz London Liverpool Street will be hosting exclusive screenings in Masonic Temple, which is housed in the depths of the hotel and concealed by heavy, studded door. Guests will be able to view some of the greatest films ever made about food, including Babett’s Feast, Big Night, Sideways and Eat Drink Man Woman also available will be a two course gourmet meal at the hotel’s Eastway brasserie before or after the film.

Screenings will take place from 7.00pm on the following dates;

Tickets are priced at £39.00 per person (including a two course meal) and each screening will be limited to 35 people.

Gastronomic Weekend:

As an official partner for the festival, Andaz London Liverpool Street will be hosting guests for the Ultimate Gastronomic Weekend. Brand new for this year, the package captures the best activities of the Festival into one unforgettable experience. On Saturday, guests enjoy a Champagne Gourmet Odyssey, visiting three restaurants in a single day. On Sunday, there will be breakfast at The Andaz, lunch hosted by Michel Roux at The Landau, followed by a VIP tour of the food department at Fortnum & Mason.
