Experience Cinema celebrates landmark 30th Anniversary of Top Gun
Do you feel the need? The need for… drawn-out shots of afterburners, terrible haircuts, aerial smack-talk, softly lit sex scenes and the power chord genius of Kenny Logins? We know you do. We do too.
This May, the most definitive movie of the 80s, Top Gun, turns a jaw-dropping 30 and the creators of Rooftop Film Club and Underground Film Club are paying tribute to the cult classic with a very special weekend cinematic spectacular. Set within the incredible courtyard of Hoxton’s Geffrye Museum, the anniversary weekender will host two consecutive evening screenings of perhaps the most quoted movie of all time, featuring a volleyball court (shirt optional, but probably advised), whirlwind high fives, Top Gun themed cocktails, delicious street food and more power ballads than you could possibly ever want or need. Karaoke masters Lucky Voice will be giving you that loving feeling with live hosted singing sessions with group ballads encouraged.
Don your Aviators and round-up the Goose to your Maverick as from Friday 13th to Saturday 14th May 2016, Rooftop Film Club are taking you back to Miramar.
